Dynamic Ease 1:1 Mentorship

Personal movement guidance with Åsa Lindstedt, grounded in the Feldenkrais Method®

What if moving well didn’t have to be hard work?

So many of us have been taught that change requires effort: push harder, stretch further, try more. Yet your nervous system learns in a very different way. It learns through curiosity, attention and ease. When you stop forcing and start noticing, something remarkable becomes possible.

Dynamic Ease 1:1 Mentorship is a personal journey where we explore, together, how your body organises itself, and how it can discover easier, freer and more efficient ways to move. This is not about fixing you. It is about giving your brain and body the conditions to learn.

Why it works with your nervous system, not against it

Your brain is remarkably adaptable. Through neuroplasticity, it keeps reorganising itself in response to what you experience. Gentle, attentive movement gives it clear, new information, and that is where lasting change begins.

The work is built on the Dynamic Ease Approach, my somatic movement framework grounded in the Feldenkrais Method®. It follows a natural progression, the 7 S’s :

Slow – giving your nervous system time to notice and learn

Sense – discovering subtle differences in movement, effort and balance

Soften – letting go of unnecessary tension and habitual holding

Synchronise – finding how your whole body can work together

Stabilise – letting your skeleton carry you, saving energy and making new possibilities reliable in everyday life

Strength – adding load and effort without losing quality

Speed – moving with dynamism while keeping your ease

Is this for you?

About

Åsa Lindstedt is a licensed physiotherapist and Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner with over 30 years of experience helping people move with more ease. She created the Dynamic Ease Approach to bring together clinical knowledge, somatic education and a deep respect for the intelligence of the nervous system. Her role is to guide you, so that you can discover what your body is truly capable of.

During my professional career, which started in 1992, I have worked with people of all ages – from infants to older adults – across a range of medical specialities, including orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, rheumatology, psychiatry, pain rehabilitation and intensive care. Almost 15 years of my work have been in paediatric physiotherapy.

My interest in movement began early through classical ballet and later continued as an instructor at Friskis & Svettis, which in turn led me to train as a physiotherapist. This long-standing engagement has shaped my understanding of how movement affects function, health and well-being. When I encountered the Feldenkrais Method®, this understanding deepened further through its perspective on learning, neuroplasticity and the complexity of the human body.

In 2005, I opened a physiotherapy practice in Helsingborg, Sweden, where I combined physiotherapy with the Feldenkrais Method®. After seven years, I returned to hospital work, working with children with neuromuscular diseases, brain injuries, epilepsy and idiopathic toe walking at Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital and within child and youth habilitation services. This has given me in-depth experience of motor development and neurological conditions. Today, I work in primary care rehabilitation at Närhälsan Gibraltar Rehabilitation Clinic in Gothenburg.

In 2025, MADE FOR MOVEMENT entered a new phase as a digital platform for movement and health. My purpose is to support people in exploring and developing their movement possibilities – regardless of age or ability – and in discovering how small changes in movement can open up new possibilities for health and well-being.

MADE FOR MOVEMENT APP was created at the request of clients I have worked with over the years in individual lessons, weekly group classes and workshops in the Feldenkrais Method®. Many have said that this is knowledge we should all learn at school. Fortunately, we can keep learning throughout our lives, and now you have the chance to do so here.

Your next step

You don’t need to be flexible, fit or experienced. You only need curiosity and a willingness to notice and learn. Book your place, and let’s begin exploring what becomes possible when you move with less effort and more awareness.

"Movement is life. Life is a process.
Improve the quality of the process,
and you improve the quality of life itself"
